Envision a 43-acre ranch in the heart of beautiful Willamette Valley wine country, transformed into a dynamic hub for healing, education, and economic growth.

The Oaks Legacy Ranch, operating under The N.I.C.E. umbrella, will create a profound impact through: 

* Therapeutic & Adaptive Riding Programs: We’ll provide vital equine-assisted therapy for autistic children, individuals with disabilities, and trauma survivors, offering a crucial resource often inaccessible to families. 

* Equine Education & Horsemanship Clinics: To help financially support our cause, these weekend events will attract visitors from across the Pacific Northwest, boosting local businesses in Yamhill, Carlton, Newberg, Forest Grove, and McMinnville through increased patronage of restaurants, lodging, and retail. 

* Community Wellness & Event Hosting: We’ll host diverse events, from yoga retreats and local wine tastings to corporate team-building, fostering community connection and enhancing regional appeal. 

* Women’s Empowerment Through Transitional Employment: This is significant in N.I.C.E.’s mission. We’ll offer meaningful, flexible employment to women navigating the prolonged and often devastating Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) process, unemployment, or homelessness. Having personally experienced this challenging journey, I know firsthand the desperate need for purpose and income during such an isolating time. 

At N.I.C.E., we believe that true community wellness flourishes when individuals have access to supportive environments and enriching programs that nurture their physical, mental, and emotional health.

We aim to provide accessible mental health support, wellness programs, horse therapy, and vibrant communal spaces for all, with a special focus on women and children. 

This will be a safe and secure place to grow through education, work, and housing opportunities, serving not only low-income or disabled individuals but anyone seeking connection and growth in a world that can often feel disconnected and overwhelming. 

My name is Martine Rohlfing, and as the founder of N.I.C.E., my mission is clear: to foster resilient communities through strategic revitalization and empowering initiatives. 

My three decades as a successful business owner have equipped me with the skills to make this happen, and my personal journey has instilled a profound commitment to transforming adversity into a powerful community asset.
